Congenital Heart Disease Awareness Month 2012 Campaign
Congenital heart disease is the number one birth defect. It affects 1 in 120 children. Our job was to raise awareness of the issue as well as to encourage families affected by congenital heart disease to choose The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia for treatment.
We decided on a campaign that focused on the statistics with stark, black and white images of kids and their chest scar. These images added drama to to already dramatic headlines. Signage was placed on transit, including, trains, subways and buses. We also ran print ads in several regional publications, created a landing page on the website, and placed signage throughout the hospital.
