This was a fun side project I decided to embark on inspired by my distaste for Pop-Sockets and some expandable food storage containers I found in the kitchen. The idea was to have an expandable feature fully integrated into a phone case while utilizing the collapsible design on the storage container. This would not only prop a phone up for viewing media but also serve as a convenient hollow area that could be transformed as a light source when in darker areas while outdoors. The metal tab on the back can be pulled and pushed on to expand and collapse the case while the integrated button activates the LED on the inside of the case, illuminating it. The LED would be powered by a user-replaceable battery located under the metal pull tab.
