Final Concept Design - A 3D rendering of the final design of the 'daughter object'.
Daughters going Out - This is the image that I created for the cover of my graduation project report.
Trend Research Target User - The result of a study of the form language of the target users. Speaking the form language of these teenage girls is necessary to come with a final design.
User Evaluation Models - These two painted models are designed with the minimal electronics necessary for a credible user evaluation.
Daughters' Key Object - Here we see the prototype in use hanging from a bicycle key on a bike.
Parents' Nightstand Object - This object communicates to parents from the nightstand using dynamic lights and icons. It is part of the functional demonstration prototype.
Working Prototype - This is a fully functional prototype I built to demonstrate the functionality of the concept. The object with keys attached to it is built up from layers cut out in a lasercutting machine.
Form Exploration - In Adobe Illustrator I made a quick exploration of possible 2D forms for one of the objects in my concept.
Foam Model - A foam model I created to explore a possible mechanism for one of the objects in my concept.
Cardboard Model - A cardboard model I created to explore a possible mechanism for one of the objects in my concept.
Cardboard Model - A cardboard model I created to explore a possible mechanism for one of the objects in my concept.
Problem Analysis - An extensive stakeholder, context and problem analysis is visually combined in this illustration I made.
