For my senior thesis I wanted to create a culture based design intended to have a vintage hand-crafted element to it. The only way I could truly be happy with the elements of my design was to create it by hand, which is exactly what I did. I started with the artwork for my labels, which kickstarted the idea for the posters, leading into the business cards and video. Next I needed to create a logo and a brand for my company. Then, I was challenged with the idea of packaging. For the concept I chose I wanted to individually sell the bottles and have a separate "gift package" which consisted of 4 different varieties of beer and 2 custom made pilsner glasses with the company logo printed on it. The final touch, but certainly not the least was the creation of the beer tap handle. I wanted to mimic the logo somehow which I felt was a great addition which really gave the whole display some sort of closure on the whole crafted element. All objects created by hand, wood recycled from a pallet.
