Helpless Eyes
*Insight:
Domestic incidents of gun violence and murders are among the most disturbing and heart breaking. A gun in the house makes it more likely and can quickly escalate a drunken spat, fit of rage, or the doldrums of despair into a family murder suicide. Then there are armed robberies that could sometimes be fatal end very devistating to the family.
*Idea:
Helpless Eyes, is a series of posters / print ads.
Every poster/ad features an extreme close-up of a child, mother or father’s eye.
The horrific situation playing itself off in the house, is reflected in the eye, whether it is a suicide, robbery or gender or child based gun violence.
