Design Brief:
Produce series of mailable boxes to hold a variety of products such as post-it holders, which will be sent out in a marketing campaign. Must keep product safe from damage and firmly in place.
Action:
• Experimented with various substrates. Dies were completed with the input of bindery who would be gluing the finished boxes. Larger of the designs would have polystyrene in both the lid and base. • White mock-ups were supplied to the customer along with die-lines to apply art. • A polystyrene supply company was sourced for the pieces we required.
Design Brief: Create a sales box for John Morrell containing the following items - a pig-shaped puzzle, booklet, and two CDs/DVDs. Contents must be held firmly in place but not fastened, as some boxes will also be mailed out. Action: Completed design by using: • 3 Layers of die-cut foam core inside to hold the items securely. • B-flute box, platform, and inside lid protector. • Adobe Illustrator • Large format digital die cutter.
