DIY CNC Machine
Designed, modeled, and built my own 3-axis CNC machine. "Big Red" was modeled up in Mechanical Desktop with full BOM, detail drawings, and functional dims. Built the control box from a toolbox purchased at local store. It runs on Mach3 toolpath software. I've made and cut my own plastic wax for various molds, cut clay with a custom bit I designed, and cut an assortment of soft and hard woods. Included is a car tile i worked on.
