DT6 Air Racer, FAI C1A-0 Class
The DT6 is designed to challenge all existing FAI C1A Class World Records. This aircraft is the result of over 6 years of detailed design and CFD refinement, and the aircraft is now under construction. This project is a perfect demonstration of the nexus of skills which make up David Triano's design approach: Stunning new aesthetics, scientific understanding of new materials and analysis techniques, and a 'clean-sheet' development process. The DT6 is not just a pretty aircraft; it has been engineered down to the last fastener, and analyzed with state-of-the-art CFD simulation. This aircraft is now under construction.
