Rudisill Mine Park and Cafe :: Project Overview - The mapping phase of this project looked to relate the changing depth and breadth of the mines with the rising height of downtown Charlotte's skyscrapers and the expansion of the immediate Southend area. In the design phase, this scalar relation between the above and below ground resulted in the examination and recreation of two different grid systems.
