This 40,000 unit OEM bag had to be designed and mass manufactured
in 90 days. My design was a combination of an Italian pencil case bag the customer liked and other components needed for job functions specific to PWC field employees. I traveled to Canton Fair China as a buyer to identify factories that could make the bag. I toured five factories to document working conditions for final vendor selection. Our company paired with a bag manufacturing rep out of NYC and I traveled back to their factory for contract sample approval and final design modifications. The bag and I hopped a plane directly to NYC to present the final production sample to our client. Special thanks to Patti Dunn for her revisions to the gadgets panel and fabric consult.
