In 2009 I created my first company. I named my business, Feather Me, inspired by the fashion style of wearing feather hair extensions. I traveled to special events like cheerleading competitions, fairs, festivals, and music concerts. After a year I created my next company, Boot Strapz. The anklet-like boot belt became a success in the world of country fashion. It first appeared at Stagecoach Music Festival in which it nearly sold out entirely. Boot Strapz is currently in business with 5 stores. From starting and maintaining my two successful companies I have learned many untaught skills. I learned marketing, product placement, target audience, selling, people skills, and overall how a company works.
