Energy Harvesting Speed Bump
Speed bump that harnesses energy from vehicular motion. Modular system that can be used to test different generators, gear ratios, and mechanical storage solutions. See attached link for video of a car driving over the speed bump.
Worked with one other mechanical engineer and two electrical engineers.
Started with user research to determine pain points and develop opportunities. Then prototyping and testing to determine functionality.
