Mudroom Shoe Rack
- Interior and furniture design research and analysis of residential mudrooms and the consumer market’s trends and essentials.
- Independently trained and coached outside of NCSU School of Design to proficiently MIG weld for this project.
-Anthropometric data research determined the appropriate grate dimensions to accommodate average shoe sizes.
-The design focused on the word “mud” in “mudroom,” therefore textured rebar is the material used for the grates (convenient for dry mud removal) and includes a metal pull out drawer (designed to catch the debris.)
