Here is my latest creation, Cinderella. Cinderella is what started my journey into making these dolls, over 6 years ago. I have taken a great deal of inspiration from the original 1950 film, Cinderella. I loved the strawberry blonde hair next to this beautiful grey blue gown. She looked so striking. Her gown is hand dyed organza, brocade, silk satin, and silk chiffon. Her peplums are made of a silk taffeta ivory with a silk chiffon overlay of white. The peplums are trimmed with hand beaded glass beads in a lacey pattern. The gown is studded with Swarovski crystals and glass beads. She’s made of 16 removable accessories, including her beautiful glass slippers with glittery hearts. I made her head, which is rooted with strawberry blonde saran, styled and held in a snood I made. I also made all her jewelry! The doll and all her accessories were all made by me. I hope you enjoy her!
