Color Wheel Design

The objective of this project was to fundamentally change the traditional color wheel design. This design organizes shades vertically on one side of each flap, lightest at the top and darkest at the bottom. Levels of tone are on the opposite side of each flap, with pure hues at the top closer to the center and atonal colors further away at the bottom. The flap length is dictated by whether the colors are primary (longest), secondary (mid-length) and tertiary (shortest). The entire design folds flat for storage.
