A close up of the letters - please note all the junk from which the sign is made.
The sign in its natural environment on the exhibits floor.
Watch it go! Also, this brief video affords a riveting behind-the-scenes look at my workbench in the shop.

Robot Park Sign

There was an exhibit (built by someone else) that allowed visitors to program a modified Roomba to hit a target.

They wanted a splashy response if the target was properly activated, so I built this animated sign.

Except for the letters, not a single component of this sign was purchased. Old bits of colored plexi, parts from an old LEGO set, a motor form a VCR, an Elk timer from a defunct display, all just junk.
