Mediloom is a technology start-up focusing on medical diagnostics through optics with the AnoPro system. Beyond the delivery of high resolution images, great emphasis is placed on both the patient and doctor’s convenience and comfort.
AnoPro was a Horizon 2020 project funded by the European Innovation Council and a 2021 IF
Design Award Winner. Clinical trials are set to happen at Israel‘s Sheba Hospital.
AnoPro is a tool for assisting doctors in their assessment of patients’ gastroinstenstinal
conditions, via the use of small cameras, mounted at the edge of an anoprobe. The device consists of a compact, reusable core unit, surrounded by a disposable insertion casing that boasts a diameter that is much
smaller than existing diagnostic equipment.
