The Player spawns near a collapsed tunnel at the end of the dungeon, and must work their way back through to the entrance.
A toxic river that damages some forms the player must use in order to escape, lies at the heart of the dungeon.
Only the spider may jump and climb webs.
The skeleton is the only form (thus far) that can hold objects.
Light guides the way.
I opted to add horror elements to add hesitancy to the players actions, resulting in longer play-time and interesting movement choices.

Risen is a 3D puzzle game centered around a ghost trying to find their way out of a dungeon. The player must posses the bodies of different creatures such as: a spider, skeleton, etc, each with their own abilities and drawbacks.

I undertook this project alone, in order to experiment in making a game that was engaging but also easily scalable so that expansion, as a solo developer, was less daunting.
