Contemporary orthodox church
A contemporary orthodox church in Kazanlak, Bulgaria. The idea is to expose the most typical element - the dome. Situated on water, the reflection of the dome fulfils the form to a complete sphere. The entrance to the church is from a sloping ramp, that goes 1,2m under the water level. Thatway a person has the feeling, that enters into the reflection (the non-material, spiritual world).
