This was a short experiment in making a music video using shadow puppetry. Inspired by the Beatles' track 'Free as a bird' and Sillhouette animator Lotte Reineger, a small set was made with paper and cardboard. Puppets and BG's were cut out of paper and gel paper. To avoid seeing rigs in the video, rods instead of sticks were used to manouvre the puppets. A mini DV camera was used to shoot the video with fluoroscent back lighting.
