The panda slash game I am in the making from https://learn.awesometuts.com/courses/ I am still learning to get my best handle and grip learning how to do development and design in unity and unreal game engines. The game spawn the same background and tree's with enemies that random spawn from 0 to 9 and also obstacles and the player constantly run's on his own.
After I took the sprite and sliced it I then started the animator then the animation where I made several saves for the running, idle, death, jump, fall and so on.
The animator has transitions that run from Entry to running, to jump and running attack, but some have transition back from fall, jump attack, double jump, only thing left in this is to finish death and dive kick or stomp. Most of transitions are coded in bools and other is greater or less than.
This is the GamePlay and Canvas for the Pause Menu with the scaler being 1920 by 1080. Render Screen Space for camera, all have buttons that go back and forth from resume to restart and exit quits and goes back to main menu.
This is the collector script it collects the background and tree's plus enemies and objects' in game then reuses them later.
This script repositions the background to the x and y axis that I want for the camera to have the best angle for the player.
The player movement script is what makes the player run contantly and jump by key press "Down". With along attack and Double Jump, with what ever I decide to put in later. Most of all the scripts I do in movement or other like scripts is in it's own function underneath update where it read's it like it is so it doesn't put the game in a bad state or crash. I tried several ways with this game I find it better to do it like this.
