This illustration used nearly 30 meshes for everything from the overall shape of the bottle to the tiny nibs at the bottom of the bottle. The remaining details were too small to use the mesh too on and maintain fidelity, so I used a combination of the blob tool and the pencil tool and gradients to fill in these tiny but crucial details.
This is the original photograph that was used as a reference to create the mesh illustration.

Coca-Cola Photorealistic Illustration

This project was at first intimidating - it was the first time I'd used this technique outside of class - but turned out to actually be a lot of fun and very satisying.

In this project I predominantely used the mesh tool - there are five main meshes used to create the basis of the illustration (one each for the bottle, the shadow, and the cap, and two in the bottle label) as well as over twenty more used in smaller details of the bottle.
