The maths of heraldry
The client needed a board game designer to bring their idea to life. The challenge was to provide an easy and quick way to compare two cards, and assess if one is an integer factor of the other. My inspiration came from heraldry, and the composite image you would get when two noble families would merge their shields; in fact, each card contains all the elements of all its factors, be it colors or emblems. In the final product, each graphic element is deliberately chosen to convey some numerical information.
