Sweet and vegan
I was tasked with designing a a recipe booklet, complete with a cover, formatting and black and white illustrations, for a multi-day baking course. The client was a luxury location rental agency, that holds cooking courses for italian and international guests. They wanted to present the vegan diet in a way that wouldn’t shy away from traditional cooking, but rather follow through with its promise to deliver hearty, delicious bakery, without any compromises. I wanted the product to look as if it belonged on grandma’s shelf, so I used some turn-of-the-century typography, complemented with a touch of friendly, feminine handwriting.
