MacWidget produces a magnificent standard quality of performance and is greatly recognised as a leader within its field market and for that it has an expressive quotation demand, with its order book always full. However its quotation success is only 30%, which made them hire a marketing company to investigate the cause of this issue. It was identified that MacWidget has to reduce the overall lead times and costs (at least 10%) for its services of engineering. The chosen solution for it was introducing new hardware and software, including 3D computer-aided engineering and design (CAED) and non-CAED related to support the new system.
