BFA Exhibition

Active Consumption - Active Consumption is an interactive installation made of heavily manipulated fabric. The driving concept behind this material exploration is consumption by the infamous Kudzu plant. While this plant absorbs the habitats beneath it, a new billowing scape is created, and with it an unexpected beauty. Each piece is rich, invasive, and spontaneous; thus creating an overwhelming, engulfing, and whimsical atmosphere for the spectator.
