The bluestone veneered spa overflows like a waterfall into the 'pond like' pool.
The client wanted a naturalistic pool so we placed it into the hillside and kept the Triad pool deck on one side and planted the other with naturalizing material and beautiful dogwood trees. To enhance the spa experience I placed grasses and similar material up against it. Natural stones boarder the pool edge and a dive rock was installed.
The pool deck widens to accommodate seating and tables for gatherings of friends and family.

Hingham Residence
This project was a high end residential landscape and pool design I created for a client in Hingham Mass. It was completed in two phases from 2000-2005.
Completed as Chris Machold Landscape Architect.
The site required a landscape planting plan for the entire site because it was cut out of existing woods. A stone retaining wall was built to level and seperate the pool area. The client asked me design a pool house (which was later drawn up by an architect with minor modifications), pool and spa, along with a Triad pool deck and patio paving design large enough for entertaining.
