Purley Festival 2013
The project set by the owner of Croydon based Cafe, co-working space and creative hub Matthews yard was to decorate the Purley festival 2013 stall. The area which would include the croydon craft club, matthews yard cafe refreshments and the soapbox stage.
The brief was to come up with a look that defined the area, fitted in with the image of Matthews Yard which is very much about being authentic, using found materials and fine quality. The concept of the decoration was to hark back to quintessential britain be it picnics or street parties and to hand make as much as possible.
