Croydon is my hometown and where my intense love of capturing landscapes began. As a town with city status aspirations Croydon has been redeveloped to the point where it changed from an average suburban town into a metropolitan district with a mini Manhattan skyline. With the evolution of my home town I decided I wanted to document this and preserve the buildings for myself and others to look upon in years to come.
With the major redevelopment of the town plan in the /60's came the era of concrete as the ideal building material. As the decades have passed it has been shown that the use of this material wasn't necessarily the best idea. Concrete jungle is something that is bandied about quite a bit and I also wanted to capture what is also still a very green town
