Stenos
The project Stenos named for its partiality Greek word line or narrow bases its formal concept in molluscs, which only have a feeding tube that runs like digestive system. Is a system of forest firefighting designed to parks or forest reserves that are located more than 3000 meters.
The fire attack is done by creating barriers of foam and water to moisten the vegetation avoiding the advancing flames, by a single team that has each firefighter, coupled with a system of collection and distribution of the liquid.
It was designed by Juan Carlos Beltran and Juan Carlos Castaneda as degree work to qualify for the title of Industrial Designer of the National University of Colombia 2002
