The prints in this portfolio are monotypes I made during my time in Sweden. I was accepted into the Smalland Biennial and showed them at the Jonkoping Art Museum. I made these prints shortly after 9/11. I was able to interact with many refugees that were also living in Sweden at the time, many of whom were from Iraq. They reflect my feeling and awareness of being a foreigner while interpreting attitudes and questions towards our foreign policies at the time.
