To design a functional and aesthetically appealing alternative to the market offerings of prosthetic limbs for patients with below-elbow amputations.
Design | Solution
Through simple mechanical suction, users are able to pull the “skin” of their prosthetic hand tight around the underlying claw, providing precision needed for typing and other delicate tasks. This prosthesis combines the aesthetic appeal of the cosmetic hand with the functionality of the hook prosthetic.
