This logo design was produced for KIOSKO, a mobile phone payment service which allows users to make payments for bills etc through their mobile phone or tablet. The design uses an emblem of a shield to enforce security and trust, the design specifically uses a square shaped shield because its shape can relate to the media used to perform the payment, in this case mobile phone and tablets which are commonly shaped as a square or rectangle. To give the design a unique appearance, a green and grey colour scheme was chosen to derive away from the commonly used blue and white scheme that had been adopted by many of KIOSKO’s competitors. The idea for the colour scheme came from the SSL locks that appear when using an internet browser.
