Light painted statue with a printed out mountain range background. Created a small snoot out of black construction paper to narrow the beam on the LED flash light.
Done with strobes and a blue gel filter.
Photography, Photo manipulation, camera, studio. Using three mini moles I created this image of a Captain America action figure. One light from behind to create the silhouette and two on either side to bring out minor details. Photoshop was used to create the glowing stars and shield glow.

I moved the robot figure to four different spots, and using Photoshop I combined them into one image. For the robot figure to the left I did a fifth take of the robot leaning back a little this gave the illusion that the top half was separated from its bottom half. Lasers, gun fire and glowing features were done in Photoshop.

The light emanating from the figures hand was a small flashlight I taped to the black back drop and aligned the figure and camera so make the light appear to emit from the character's power ring. The symbol in the background was made in Photoshop by tracing a close up macro image of the symbol on the figure's chest.

The planet was made from a styro-foam ball I had spray painted. I removed the stick holding the ball in place and created the clouds on the planet with Photoshop.
