For this project we began working with a retired architect who wants to create a local brewery. The building he had chosen is an old water pump station located in Eden Park here in Cincinnati Ohio. The Pump Station has had a long history and is a Historic Landmark here in Cincinnati. Due to the buildings historic and cultural values we are limited to what they are allowed to change on the building. So for this project we focused on modeling after the park. Me along with two other of my Graphic Design classmates were teamed up with three other students from the interior design classes. Our job as the graphics team is to develop a Brand that can be applied to the brewery’s products and merchandise. The next step was to create a way finding system that could be place around the bar. After determining where the signs would be placed we began to build what they might look like. The Final challenge was to design packaging and labeling for the different beers offered at the brewery.
