Debug Snake - Retro Game Jam
A twist on the classic game snake where you have to dodge the bugs and collect the paint cans. when paint cans are collected, it leaves paint stains on the map. The bugs die when they touch the paint. This is a metaphor for fixing bugs and giving a game "A lick of paint".
Construction Time - Global Game Jam
Go against another player in this 2 player game where the goal is to build the best house. you are on the clock to build the best house before the time runs out. once the time runs out though, there is a twist and the buildings turn into tanks and the houses will need to battle it out.
I like taking part in game jams as it's the perfect scenario to think outside the box and be creative in a strict time schedule. This shows I can stick to deadlines and not crumble under pressure.
