Printer
The printer is a concept sculpture piece. Hand-made and self automating, this creation builds on a idea I have played with for some time. That idea is what is the artwork? Is it the final product archiving the action? Is it the act of the machine creating? Is it the audience participating? Displayed in the gallery with hung final product, the machine may be controlled by the audience to produce printing plates to ink and press in the space. Then hung up the dialogue begins of what is the art we have come to see?
