My take on a Windsor Chair
This was one of my final year projects at university. I wanted to study the art of traditional wood craft, and look at how I can utilise this by using it in a contemporary modern sense. This was my version of a Windsor Chair made from American Oak and Ash. Particular attention was paid to the joinery, creating an aesthetic detail of certain joints.
