2019 Tui trophies
Recorded music NZ invited us to work with Boh Runga to help conceptualise and manufacture the 2019 music awards. After being presented with a concept, we worked together throughout the year to fully develop the design to best fit within the budget, and to make sure it can be manufactured. Typically, working with clear acrylic is something best avoided, as it leaves no space for hiding flaws or fixings. Luckily we were able to use the gloss black bars to hide these details. This had the added benefit of framing the hero element; two 3D cut Tui shapes on the front and back of the acrylic.
