Huge project! Hundreds of hangers which contained clipped in fabric swatches had to be created. Technical information about each piece of fabric, per customer was entered into Excel spreadsheets then sorted into 1 main organized spreadsheet then finally into QuarkXPress utilizing Xdata, which is an extension in Quark. To bring in the information, precise locations in the file were tagged using Xdata code to enable the software to populate information into each text/image area. I had just a few months to learn this new software, create and perfect the master die, perfect logos, create barcodes and create and set up numerous templates for each customer before the final stage of creating the many hangers required for this project. I recreated a few customer logos to ensure the utmost quality for each piece in the project, because all that was available was a low resolution jpeg or something similar. Once the digital work was done I helped extensively in the plant wrapping up the project.
