Skymachine

Skymachine is a game created for, and with the help of, kids with ASD. The project was realized within 10 weeks, with a group of 6 people.

At the start of this project, our team visited an elementary school where we worked together with kids, all 10 to 13 years old. The results of this visit were 17 unique drawings or inventions. Our task was to combine these 17 very different inventions into one solid game and make their drawings come to life. This resulted in Skymachine; a linear open-world game, where each and every invention is an interactable and has a thought-out place in our story.

I was mainly responsible for the gameplay design, gameplay programming, communication with the composers of the soundtrack and took an active part in the creation of our game's story and overall design.
