"Breeze is the first project we have developed for Segis, with the specific goal of creating an innovative product that would give a clear message about the company's intention to take its own course in the design world. The study lasted from 1993 to 1995. The design process was difficult and did not seem to give satisfactory results. It was a jigsaw puzzle in which we had finally found the key to successfully combine all the pieces. The presentation was an instant success and 'unexpected; to date we have been produced over 1,500,000 pieces. Nothing more than necessary is present, the joints are visible and clear distinction between the materials. The possibility of bending machines then the cutting edge have been exploited for the realization of the element leg-arm and the flexibility of plastic for the backrest. It is produced in eight separate parts that are simply inserted into each other and then screwed or riveted."
