Here's a sliding mechanic I made in UE4 for a first person shooter game.
This was actually a bit more tricky to implement than what it seemed, since it involved having to dynamically alter the capsule component in order for the collision to work properly.
I definitely wish I could have a pair of legs, so that way I could pull off the illusion better, but for what it's worth I think I did a pretty good job given what I had.
