FIrmgreen, Inc asked my firm to create an intelligent parametric 3D model of their process piping facility in Ohio - an energy conversion facility sitting atop a landfill.
We not only 3D modeled this building and facility using AutoCAD MEP, Revit & other programs, but we 3D laser scanned it using Leica hardware & software, modeled each individual pipe and valve, and worked with Firmgreen's networking group to make it an unmanned site, with photo-real liquid flow and gas movement animations in real-time, being able to click on a 3D valve and it would shut off or turn on, with diagnostics and analytics. They are now able to view an intelligent P&ID - the isometric views in real-time - being able to virtually shut off valves & certain processes, seeing the environment as it sits. We also created sales material & high-res renderings/animations for their main HQ.
