Palm Sander
Project Date: 2014, Sophomore Year
Current Palm sanders are not ergonomically satisfying for all demographics. From looking at what's on the market to creating production orthographic's, this sophomore project allowed me to dive deep into the complete design process. Part of that process included, looking at current products on the market, and seeing what was good vs. bad ergonomically. Taking products apart to understand internal components, and concepting ideas that go beyond the normal "palm sander". Going through that process gave light to the proposed solution. The final design's visual mapping and form gives the user understanding and comfort while using this product.
