Set Design - Beetle Juice
Working within a confined space in a small scale could intimidate any designer. Yet, having direction and proper understanding of the design concept can lead to success. Here my group and I recreated an iconic scene form the movie Beetle Juice in quarter inch scale. This scene reflects when the recently deceased couple meets Beetle Juice for the first time. The challenge I concurred within this set was to create an actual moving part. I achieved this by attaching a dowel to the bottom of betel juice that actually made him pop out of his grave.
