Institutional Design - Rear Window
Representing a design concept in a life sized scale is an extremely difficult task, although with equal group effort something timeless and memorable can be created. Here my team and I transformed a window into out interpretation of the 1950’s film noir movie Rear Window. This movie is based on a wheelchair bound photographer who spies on his neighbors from his apartment window. He convinces himself that one of them has committed a murder. The main obstacle within this design display was altering the interior of the space to reflect his apartment. This included creating a fictional wall and window that overlooked his neighbors.
