Transitional Style Lakehouse
The project centered on renovating a lake house in Chesapeake, Virginia, using Chief Architect software. The client mainly focused on having additional storage space for their possessions. To accommodate their needs, I incorporated custom-built storage spaces throughout the house. I decided to use luxury vinyl plank flooring since it's well-suited for lakefront homes, as it is durable and can withstand wear and tear from the outside elements. The back of the house was designed to maximize the stunning view of the lake. Multiple windows were installed throughout the living spaces, allowing natural light to flood the home and allowing an unobstructed view of the lake.
