Hero Shot - I found an attractive image in an EQ3 furniture catalogue so I tried to replicate the feeling by focusing on lighting and materials. I admire how the photographer used studio lighting to isolate the subject (Lola chair) in a residential setting. The dark background bookcase and foreground shadow on the floor frame the chair and direct the eye to the focal point. This makes the composition visually appealing. Also, the scene is populated with just enough entourage to keep the eye moving, but, eventually, returning to the subject.
