This project was the design of an ultra-compact telemedicine ECG machine as precise and reliable as any other regular ECG, one that could function with fixed electrodes and is wireless, making the device very easy to carry.
It could be used in a huge number of different scenarios. For instance, people with different heart diseases could check themselves on an every-day basis, or the device could be used on the spot, to quickly and cost-effectively check hundreds of school children and juvenile sport teams for early-warning diagnostics.
The data is collected by an app installed in a mobile phone or tablet and sent to a server, in order for a cardiologist to evaluate the results and send the diagnosis back to the user.
